Description: Beads of Courage provides emotional support for children in treatment for cancer and other serious illnesses. The parents of children who pass away are given a special commemorative bead made with a butterfly motif. I make glass murrini butterfly canes, cut them into 1mm slices and apply them to glass beads as the beads are made. The pieces are all assembled using a propane/oxygen torch and multiple colors of glass.
